Windows 8 and Oracle connection trough OleDB

Hello,

I have created an application to a fill a datatable with an OleDb connection which gets data from oracle.

This works just fine in Windows 7 and correctly retrieves the data. However whenever I run the application in Windows 8 it gives me the following error:

Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-01019

This error occurs on the freshly installed computers and the new laptops which have Windows 8 by default.

Other colleagues who use Windows 7 can use the application without any sign of failure like the Windows 8 users do.

I hope someone is able to help me out any time soon :)
