Hi i'm a computer student searching for a software to make a game.
i've googled and found severals but not many are free.
What im searching for is a software that resembles GameMaker or any RPG games ie Pokemon Red,Interactive Children Games that is easy to use and can be ready in five days tutorial.

I'm open to any suggestion on using any software and basic tutorials

I'd probably say c++ with SDL but to be fair it isn't really something you can put together in five days from scratch.

Yeah the lecturer is kind of a jerk.My course doesn't offer game programming of any kind.and yet we still have to complete the game in five days.
