c++ with DirectX 9

Expand Post »
Hi Guys,

I am writting some c++ code. And need to use the directx library to render images to the screen. For those you don't have a CPU speed problem(like I have) you can render jpegs images onto the screen in real time with Ipicture class.

However I have a CPU usage problem, I need to render jpeg images to the screen but only have a 600 Mhz to do so.

I need any kind of help regarding Directx, I have never used it. I have installed the version DirectX 9.0c. But have no clue how to use it. How do i link it to my C++ code? Which includes do I need? What are the main functions just to render images to the screen? Does anyone have a small sample code..

Any kind of help would be really appriciated.
