Here's an idea that should keep you busy for quite awhile. Make a visual that reacts to music, like Sonique or iTunes visuals. I'm making an iTunes clone myself, and just about got the structure completed. Just gotta finish up the mp3 parsing junk and hopefully add cd importing.
