Hi bhoop and welcome to DaniWeb

There are tools out there that allow you to create an exe from a java application. However this defeats one of the main advantages of java, portability. You would need a pretty good reason to go down that path, I believe...

Hi darkagn, I need to convert a jar to an exe as well.
I have no idea why, it's a request from our headoffice.

One programme that looks handy is exe4j.

Could you suggest any other apps that will be able to do this?
