Hello everyone. I'm just messing around with Java and trying to tone my skills as a programmer. I wanted to develop a type of program that calculates a monthly payment like a credit card. I want interest, APR, final payment all that to fit into the program. Also, would it be easier to allow the program to accept a final payment that exceeds the actual final payment (ex: I owe $54.00 but pay $100.00) or just pay the exact amount due? I'm new to Java (was taught C) and trying to learn things on my own. If anyone has attempted something similar to this could you share your thoughts and experience with me? Even just a push in the general right direction would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
