is it that time of year again?
Can't kids think up their own topics anymore? What's happened to creativity? Or is that all dumped into your playstations?
Might be time someone created an automatic random project idea generator, would save us all a ton of time answering questions like this.

At least this one didn't ask us to write it for him.
Try a server/client chat program. My old job used an in-house AOL-like messenger program for techs to reach others in the building. (rarely worked though)

I'm gone cry, I'm a kid because I do MSc too :'(
Yes, unfortunately new semester start next monday or monday after it. So we may get some more question regarding project topics. On top of that some lazy BSc will bump into this.
To bee fair I'm supriced with anurag143 and his question as I already started my research for final year project and secondly as MSc student he should have more imagination and could judge his abilities on Java of what he can do...
@Phaelax, can be good project for BSc however unfortunately if I brought this to my teacher he would kick my back side. Not interesting topic for them in MSc :D

Agreed. But considering how many times we've seen that topic come up on the forum, I figured there'd be plenty of resources for him to look up.
Other ideas:software to assist in project management(like charts and graph builders) You're likely to have taken or probably will take some sort of project management class.
Pacman? (or some other type of simple game)
Something you enjoy doing. Play guitar? Write a Tabulature program
