Any one here can tell me how to pop up an html file from your GUI...

any classes to be used :cheesy:

create a JFrame or JDialog containing a JTextArea or something like that inside a JScrollPane, and show that.

If I understand corectly, you try to open html document with Java. If so, you may want to read this http://today.java.net/pub/a/today/2004/10/14/jdic1.html
