problem with my java

has anyone else had this problem? i downloaded java, then, when i tried to access it, this message popped up:

"to restart the java(TM) installer, please refresh the web page"

first of all, I wasn't even on the page when it happened
then the same thing happened when i WAS on the java home page
and again after i refreshed the page
and when i went to the page where you download it

nope, never seen it. Sounds like the installer didn't complete normally.
Uninstall and try again.
