Java awt and swing event handling

hello everyone,
can anyone show me any good links on the web where i can get good information about the java swing and awt package event handling.
My event handling is very bad as the last java sdk i learned was sdk 1.0.
It was a very long time ago.

Anyway if someone can show me any good links to event handling in both the awt and swing packages much will be appreciated

Yours Sincerely

If you think I'm being stupid, just search there. I swear they have better tutorials there than anywhere else on the web.

hello everyone,
I am also wondering if the event structure used in the jdk 1.0 can also be used in jdk 1.4.2 (including both the awt and swing packages)?
Can someone reply me for this question.
My e-mail is freesoft_2000@yahoo.com

Yeah. I'd suggest using the 1.4.2 or 1.5.0 packages (which include the awt and swing packages). Unless you're building an applet, then I'd stick to the 1.1 packages.

HI Recherd West,

You can use one book i.e. Mastering Java 2 with j2sdk1.4 development kit. The links that u can use here are www.ittoolbox.com also u can use the site java.sun.com the total home for good java programming.
