Easy Derived Class Question

A picture is attached.

I have a simple technical question.

If Lizard extends Reptile which extends Animal, is Lizard a derived class of Animal? (Does not have to be directly derived, just derived.) Its easy stuff, review for the AP exam, I'm just trying to figure whether my teacher was incorrect or not.

A Lizard is a Reprtile which is an Animal. Therefore, a Lizard is an Animal. So I would say yes to your question. If you disagree, please discuss.

I totally agree. My teacher is the one who thinks otherwise. I missed a question of similar substance on a recent test, and I want that point back!
