Simulink assistance - gauges blockset

Hi. Can any one please assist me on simulink. I have built a simple circiut by connecting a ac source of 220 v. I then added a resistor of 50 ohm. I connected a amp meter in series. I then took a voltmeter across the supply. Since I need to measure power I also added a product block to the simulation. From the ammeter there is a sign similar to a greater sign as in Math which is on the ammeter(the scope can be connected to this point). I took this to one of the points on the product block. I then took the voltmeters point(similar to a greater sign and on the volmeter) to the other point on the product block. Under the gauges blockset there is a global activeX library. I added the amp meter to my simulation and just edited the pointer values to a higher values since we trying to measure power. I would have to future customise it to show/display that in deed it is a power meter. Once I did connect the run the simulation the meter did not move at all. Can any one please explain to me how to get the needle of the gauge to move when the circiut is simulated? The normal ammeter worked fine and the voltmeter did read the voltage properly.I would really appreciate if ant one could explain to me how to make the gauges blockset on mat lab to work properly. I do have windows7 as the gauges blocksets require a windows platform. Thank you.
