Upcoming lecture by the inventor of BASIC

Hello fellow coders! I run the Vintage Computer Festival East, which is an annual convention to celebrate computer history of the 1940s-1980s. This year's event is VCF East 8.0, May 5-6, 2012, in Wall, New Jersey. Our keynote speaker for the first day (May 5 at noon) is Dr. Thomas Kurtz, the (co-)inventor of original BASIC at Dartmouth in the 1960s. There will be several other speakers, along with a hands-on exhibit hall and several hands-on workshops, a book sale, consignment, tours of our computer museum, and more. The event benefits the non-profit InfoAge Science Center and the sponsoring user group (MARCH - Mid-Atlantic Retro Computing Hobbyists.) Details are being posted at http://www.vintage.org/2012/east and http://www.facebook.com/vcfeast8 .
