I'm just learning html but already have a domain, so I did a quick and dirty under construction page to replace the advertising-littered default page that the webhost was using. It's dirt-simple and not very good, but I'll make it better as time goes on.

Is there any rule I'm breaking with this page? It's at eyetee dot org. (And, yes, I have legal license to use the image for my personal website.)

No, nothing wrong with posting an 'Under Construction' page... unless your server host has some really bizarre Terms and Conditions.

Posting an "under construction page" is a good idea. It tells your visitors that the domain name is active, website is valid, but the content is not ready.

Its good to posting an 'Under Construction' page. And i completely agree with JorgeM
