Can't send P2P message from real IP

Hello,

I need to send messages to Android phones through P2P on 3G connection.
Sending and receiving works perfectly on lan ip addresses(on wi-fi) but not on 3g or 2g.
On 3g I send a message but it never appears on the other end of the line.
Can anyone tell me how to make a connection ?
What port to use ?

Thanks,
DataSmith

I suspect you're using an IP address on your LAN/WLAN...on 2g/3g you probably need to use a phone number.

Is the machine that you are trying to see exposed to the internet or just to your private intranet for you to be able to get to the ip address of the machine that you want to contact you would have to make it visible to the internet like any web page out there or set up a tunneling vpn to your private network and expose that to the internet but either way you must make sure that the machine that you are trying to contact is public to the net if you want to use 3G methods to contact it.
