I wrote a web service to connect to mysql database. But I can't find a way to call it from the j2me midlet to pass parameters to the web service. Please help me with this.

I am trying to connect j2me with mysql. I manage to create the web service. But to run it it says i want axis to mysql connector. I wrote the web service in java. Is it the same jdbc connector or a different one. I am getting errors bt i can't figure out what the wrong is.
