Is pascal still used in big apps ? Is it true that skype is written in pascal ? What is it most used for ?

I'm sure there are some systems written in Pascal , but they are probably legacy apps.

Pascal in the modern age has been usurped by Delphi , and yes, Skype was written in Delphi.

Pascal now is only for beginners, people are using more objetive pascal(Delphi), another great program written all in delphi is the Borland Delphi(compiler), it is a self compiling application, very nice technology
