ImportError in C embedding of Python

When I try to run a C program that calls a Python function, I am getting this error:

ImportError: /usr/local/depot/python-2.5.1/lib/python2.5/lib-dynload/math.so: undefined symbol: PyExc_OverflowError

Please help me resolve this.
