$paths

Hi All,
when i run ./configure it checks for cc and gcc then says error: no acceptable cc found in $path.

now i understand that cc and gcc are compilers and i belive that gcc should be on the system somewhere, but how do i put it in the $path? i'm persumeing that this is a soft link to gcc, but where do i find the $path?

BTW its a fedora box, so any redhat 8.0/9.0 ideas/locations should work.

cheers

You didn't install the developer tools needed to compile. Check Fedoras packages. Download the tools and install. You'll work like a top after that.
