File Conversion

I'm trying to write a program that converts PDF files into TIFF files. I have been trying to so in VB.NET but someone told me that VB doesn't support Tiff files, is that right? If so what other language would be better suited for me to write this program?

I just would like some help on where to get started on this, thanks!

VB doesn't support Tiff files

It wont matter, just treat the file as binary. You are making the output file after all so it will be ok
