Get Selected Txt from Word File

Dear Friends,

Am new to Vb.net and

Am working on a project where i have to get the selected text from a word file(Ms word 2007)

Please Advice how i can do this.. I have a Created an ADD-IN button in word. I need to get the Selected Text from the Active Word Document and have to store it somewhere for future use.
