hi,
using vb.net. I am looking for the coding or help with a sales database i'm working on. I need to be able to log and record a customers date and time of call into the company and also the username who attends to this customer. Do I create a record through access to record to or a simple text file to hold the details?

Creating a record is a better option to keep track the customer,dat/time and staff who respond to the call. Using a text file may giving you headache later as there's no relationship that can be mapped for data query later.
