use windows form created keyboard with toolstriptextbox

I have created a windows form keyboards that pops up when a button is pressed on the form.
when i write from the keyboard and ok is pressed i want the text to appear in the toolstrip textbox.
its sine when writing to a windows forms textbox
i get the error

Error   1   Value of type 'System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripTextBox' cannot be converted to 'System.Windows.Forms.TextBox'.
