Store MS Word/Excell files into database system

Hi All,

When I deploy an VB.NET application to manage documents formatted following Microsoft Office such as MS Word, MS Excell... But I want to store them by database as MS SQL Server or MySQL.
Please help me do that.

Im not sure but i think what they do is store the location of the file e.g URL instead of the file itself. Or is it?

Thank you for your rely, if so, I can not download in order to edit and save on server. My need is to manage documents on server, so I want to store them on database, I then use VB.NET or C# embedding with MS Word/Excel to update those documents. By the way, I don't know exactly how to embed MS Office into my application. Please help me.
