Desktop Short Cut

Hi

I'm using Visual Studio 2005 to develope a piece of software. I have used the publish button to produce the files to install my application onto another pc but it does not automaticaly put a shour cut on the desktop for me. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing that will make the install program do this for me???

thanks for any help

Why don't you use Setup and Deployment in VB.Net 2005. You can add any type of icon for the shortcut and build the application along with the your program files. This way when your installing your application you can find the icon sitting on the desktop as a shortcut.
