open, read and write a msword file in vb6

i need to open a msword file using vb6, read the data and insert a new data.

you need to use MS word library for all that.

i had used the microsoft refence but the thing is that it is time consuming to read the data, i am trying to insert a line which should be alphabetically arrange.

i hope you can help with this.
