chm file and vb5

hi on pressing f1 i wan my vb5 app to open the chm help file.
in project properties,for helpfile it accepts only.hlp files so is there anyway that i can make my chm file open on pressing f1.
i used the keydown even but its not working.
could anyone please help its urgent

chm are HTML help files, whereas ,hlp are a whole differnt format.
