Is there a code of confirmed the work of a program

For example,

I have run a program called "daniweb.exe"
I want to know whether the program works or not by vb 6 code

If you want to find out which programming language was used to create an application, check out this website...

I downloaded the (free) software and quickly tried it out. It lists DLL files. So you could google the name of a DLL file and then maybe find out what particular programming language was used to create the application.
