Have you looked at this tutorial http://www.timesheetsmts.com/adotutorial.htm? I realize it's for access, but I'm pretty sure that the OO of it allows for interfacing of any database system, but I could be wrong.
yeah i've visit that sites. but i'm still confuse with the db.i use ms sql 2000
I think you said (in a previous thread) you had no problem with the MSSQL connection string. With ADO, the database access is pretty standard, unless you plan to do something advanced or too specific for a given engine.
