idea in ivrs using visual basic and oracle

I am final year student. I am going to do the projet in visual basic and oracle in IVRS. i want the details of ivrs and how to record the voice, how to get the response with keypress without using any trial version software. i didn't have much knowledge in coding part. i have to finish my project within march.please give me idea.
