VB6 Error Accessing System Registry

i developed a payroll running in VB6 and using SQL 2000 Database, and when i install it on my laptop with windows 7, it gives me an error message 'You dont have permission to perform this operation'. Im logged in as administrator.

Your problem is the running of ms data active 2.8. you need to extra upgrades that will run smoothly, including win 8

Sorry, you will need to reference MS active data objects 6.0 backcompat library that will run successfully. let me know if this worked, there might be other files needed...
