Err:VB6.exe Application Err(The Memory could not be written)

When I open my VB6 project file(i.e .Prj), an error is encountered saying "The instruction at "0x77fcca36" reference memory at "0x006f0067" . The Memory could not be written".

Can any one explain me why this err comes and what must be the solution of this problem......

if the problem persists even after rebooting the system, it might be because of some eror in the registry or some system fiels are corrupted. Better to uninstall and install VB
