Hi,
There is a memo field called 'Particulars' in my exp table exp1 database. I have placed the field in my Crystal Report. The length of memo field by default is set to 250 characters. If I extend the field size horizontally in crystal Report my other field will go out of paper size. If I extend the size vertically then the space is left blank when the memo field has only say 100 characters.
So will any one tell me how the size of the memo field in Crystal Report is automatically adjusted depending on the length of the text in the memo field.

When I right click the field there is no such area
like "Print on Multiple Lines"
There are five tabs namely Common, Border, Font, Paragraph Format, and Hyperlink.
Under which tab it should be. But I have not seen as such. I am using CR 8.5
Pl guide one again

OK, In "Common" tab, Check : "Can Grow"

Yes, it worked and thanks but it create another problem. I have placed one line below the field but it is not shifting down according to the length of the memo field after using "Can grow" format.
Pl help me
