How2 copy root to string in output?

Expand Post »
I need to build a new XML file and in one of the output nodes, place the complete inbound XML in as a string.

How do I do that?

How do I copy the root and all its children?
To a string?

Re: How2 copy root to string in output?

Is it somewhat long-winded to do using XSLT. If you want to go this route, see Pg 67 of Jenni Tennison excellent book "XSLT and XPath on the Edge". It discusses this topic in depth.
