Xml vs html

Guys can you please tell me that which is best (XML or HTML)

actually i want to create a sitemap of my website so that's why i asking to you this confusion.

please share your thoughts here...

I think html better for you. Because you just going to create a sitemap for your website..
Actually it not a purpose of XML usage.. its use mainly for data transfer...
So I think you can do that easily through html/java-script also..

jessica dont care that what better for you html or xml just think about google that what type search engine friendly.

If you are making that page only for search engine's crawler then you should go for XML and if you are looking for both human and robot, then you go for HTML.

I recommend XML format for a sitemap as many website is xml sitemap and google spider deals with xml also with a perfect effect.
