Have you tried Qt by Nokia? I'm a unsure whether it will be supported on Windows Phone 7 and Android at all, but it is 'the' open source alternative to DotNET they say.
Maemo
and newer high end Symbians were written using it if i'm not mistaken, and with the current Microsoft-Nokia co-op it's unlikely Qt won't be compatible with WinPhone7.

So who designed the charger? Nokia or BYD? The article implies BYD. I may be wrong, but I thought BYD is an OEM supplier to Nokia ie the design is Nokia's so the financial hit is with Nokia. Just like the toy story, toys designed in the United States but made in China. Mattell finally confessed the designs were there's--but only after the …

That's what C language was supposed to do too, but it doesn't because programs like to interface with the operating systems and the hardware. That makes them os/hardware specific which require program changes when porting from one os/hardware configuration to another. I would expect Voyager 7.2 Pervasive Software Platform to have the same …

This issue is the biggest problem I have in coding because it takes me a long time to develop the software, and the life expectancy of any specific configuration of OS and hardware is rather low. I'm certainly open to anything new that comes along, but I'm not hopeful.

If you utilize a CDN for all your assets (images, css , js, etcetera) instead of serving them from your own web server then problem solved. As a bonus your website will load faster worldwide. There are some 'free' CDN's out there.

What I do is use a different subdomain for static images that uses Lighthttpd without any extensions. It's faster because it's so lightweight, it doesn't even have the ability to process PHP files in case someone uploads a malicous .php attachment and tries to execute it on the server, and I limit use of cookies to just the www. domain so that …
