mixer issue leaders to bigger problems 13 Years Ago by xpsam i've been having the "there is no active mixer devices available" problem on my xp pc at home … was done i went to check by starting up the mixer program, and low and behold "there is no active… mixer devices available" still pops up. this is were things … "mixer device not installed"???? 17 Years Ago by lol_hacker101 Hey, Recently I've been getting messages saying that iTunes cannot play music files, and when I try to open the Volume Control, it says that "no mixer devices are installed." It then tells me to install new hardware...but I HAVE a mixer device attached, so why? Any help on this problem would be appreciated. My issue seems to be just the windows audio mixer, It is in the Windows folder under system32 like i've seen it should be but when I go to open it it doesn't work.
