I really doubt that there are multi-platforms drivers. I haven't seen any although that still doesn't mean there aren't any. Which Delphi are you using?

I am planning a service that I would like to eventually grow into a multi-platform service, however, my original plan of creating a hybrid app may not be the best decision. Is it better to come up with one app design and recreate it on each platform, or design a unique user experience for each platform, making use of the platforms features and …

I just recently found out about how to link python to a MySQL database using the MySQLdb library. The syntax is actually alot like phps but I was wondering and I'm preety sure you can, but can you use the same database on a website written in php, and an app written in python? I just want to make sure before I dive into things.

You can, as long as the languages you use have connection drivers available for the particular database you intend to connect to, which in your case you know it does.
