that is interesting. the exclamation mark either means that is doesn't have a driver installed or the hardware is bad. you said that in re-installed drivers so my guess is that your vid card is bad. |

You might try searching ebay or something and try to find a replacement mobo for that specific computer. i think normal is right, i don't think they make a mobo that supports a new CPU and DDR 400. |

at those temps it sounds ok... i would at least put an exhaust fan in though. i agree with willcomp. you need to draw the CPU exhaust away from the PSU. even with the exhaust funnel on the heat sync... |

Fist of all the CPU doesn't beep. that is coming from a speaker mounted on the motherboard. now willcomp is right the beeps can mean a lot of different things. |
