Hi,
I tried to follow a post in another thread to resolve this problem with no luck. (microsoft error #317)...

I am getting a constant re-install of an application, obviosly spam, called AntiVirusGold 2.0. everytime i uninstall it re-installs itself and runs a scan about every 5 mins teling me that I am inected and that I need to of course buy the software.

I also have a red circle in my taskbar with a white x in the middle that keeps giving me a balloon that says "Your Computer Is Infected!" Click here to resolve this problem"

Also on any webpage I open first of google is messed up in that some of the buttons are missing and when you do a search it is all advertisement spam type stuff and no real content. and all banners are replaced with porn links.

I did a search for the following files as indicated in the previous post and found none of them on my system...

param32.dll
guninst.exe
popup_bl.dll
systr.dll
and
svrhost.exe


I have also run the norm in spyware removers (SB S&D, AD AWARE, about buster, stinger, killMe.exe, HSremove)

I NEED HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!

Now, let's open a command prompt by going to the start menu and then select 'Run'.

In the box that pops up type in 'cmd'. The command prompt will open.

OR

You can go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. Unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u shginas.dll
regsvr32 /u azesearch4.dll
regsvr32 /u iasada.dll

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save typing them in.
