Place a "Run" Icon On Your Desktop
- Open the Start Menu and drag the Run option on to your desktop.

Alternatively you can just hit the win(start)/r key on the keyboard at the same time. Nice tip.

..or you can make a rclick context menu entry for a w explorer folder.... saves going to the desktop. And, neatly enough, that folder is is your active directory! Click-clack.
