CPU Virtualization Technology Support

  #1
Jan 5th, 2007
I've been looking at processors for sale recently, and I've noticed a spec I don't understand, "Virtualization Technology Support." The answer is always Yes or No, but no explanation is given.

Could someone please explain how Virtualization is supported by the CPU and what determines whether or not that CPU supports it.

Thanks.
