News How do I hide email recepients?

  #1
Sep 14th, 2007
I have to send monthly promotions for my commercial real estate business. I wish to send them to around 300 brokers and would like to use something beside the bcc function. I am using outlook 2003 and trying to create a new distribution list for this. Any advice? Thanks

For 300 recipients you could write a PHP script that loops through an exported CSV list. Use the PHP mail function to send a customised email to each recipient individually.

The main problem will be that if you do too many emails in one go you may run into problems. I believe it's called tar-pitting.

PEAR do a mail class that overcomes this problem and is intended for sending mail to a large recipient list.
