Confused how ot to start

I need suggestion, i am fresh graduate and i want to start free lancing. But the point is how come an employer will give me a project as i have just education experience of my final year project and semester projects. I have a very little professional experience. My interest and educational expertise is in Asp.Net web applications [C #].But i am confused that how can i start .

My suggestion would be..

Start working first.. Gain more experience.. After 2 or 3 years, you can set up your own company and become freelancer..
