Defalut page for website not getting accessed

Expand Post »
For a website hosted at the dedicated site, i set the start page as existing at the following level.

root/subdir/startpage.aspx.

And in the iis in the virtual directory for the website i have set the default page as startpage.aspx.

but on typing the name in the U.r.l the page is not getting accessed.

its important.need sumbody to give a take on that.

Re: Defalut page for website not getting accessed

Hi

U can do the following
1) ASP.NET Project Menu > Start URL <<Set ur URL>>

OR

In the Solution Explore, right click on .aspx page > click on Set as Start Page

Build ur solution & install

OR

Go To IIS from control panel

right click on ur App. Name --> properties --> click on Documents tab --> click on Add (Add ur Startuppage.aspx)

- reset iis

Hope this will help you
