ASP.NET Engineer needed

The Division of Information Technology, Bureau of Applications Development & Support (ADS) has a need to acquire one ASP.NET software development engineer to develop new applications and support existing applications in a Microsoft ASP.NET, ASP and SQL Server environment. The immediate goal for this engineer will be to provide technical support for applications spanning the functional areas of the entire Bureau and start re-engineering an Oracle/Java application to ASP.NET/SQL Server 2000.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2 Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff
3 Demonstrated experience with developing web-based applications in a Microsoft ASP and ASP.NET environment.
4 Demonstrated experience with developing web-based applications in an Oracle/Java environment.
5 Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server through SQL2000 - 3+ years required
6 Demonstrated experience with object-oriented development techniques - 3+ years required
