My website contains database,which runs successfully in visual studio 2008,but when I put it in \wwwroot in IIS, database not working.PLS solve my problem.

I have problems also with IIS. I am trying to learn ASP.NET, and I installed IIS and Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5. I then restarted my machine, and opened up the iisstart.htm page from my browser using http://localhost/ . I get a HTTP 404 response, and I put the file in my wwwroot folder as I am supposed to. What is going on here?
