Use a domain name instead of a IP

Hello,

I just created my first website. I want to be able to access it via a domain name like, www.mytestpage.com. The problem is that looking in some hosting website and they create the website and limit the storage space...

I have the website in my own computer using IIS. I am able to access it from an external computer using my IP. I just want only to register so the domain name redirect to my ip.

How can I do that?

Buy a domain. Then in the management page of wherever you got it from, you can set DNS records.
This is a bad idea though. Your ISP probably forbids you from running your own server at home.

My hosting is unlimited space, and under £3 a month. Cancel anytime, and I got a FREE .com domain name.
