hardware and software requirements

hi all im currently developing a website on my local computer and im a beginner.the front end is asp.net and back end sqlserver.
But now i want to upload it to a server to so that it destributed to internet.
So could any one tell me some of the hardware and software requirements to install that.It could be in relation with the speed.forinstance which hardware/software is effiecent for website to have fast speed over the internet.....

You are uploading it to server - it has hardware requirements that you need. :D
For software it requires: .net framework (1.1. or 2 depending on your version) and sql server.
