I appreciate in joining the forum of Web Designers/Developers and had started working with PHP & MySQL recently.

Being a person affilated with embedded software areas for last 5 years, recently being told to join a new team within my organisation and told to come up with a webpage for team members. The contents of it are as follows -

1) Password protected login for all users (Manager/Team Members).
2) Request for Leave(Earn & Sick) and Show leave balances and summary of transaction.
3) Email notification and alert to Team Manager/ HR- Manager for each leave submission by employees.
4) Employees have the options to choose between full day or half day leave.
5) Inventory List: List of inventory taken/issued.
6) Business Travel: Has information of Passport Number, VISA Type, Countries visited & Date of Travels.

I had come across http://www.evolt.org/PHP-Login-System-with-Admin-Features and tested it on my Win32 system with PHP & MySQL, it worked fine and now I wish to modify this resource so that I can support #(2)-#(6) as stated above.

I wish if I can be supported as I am totally novice in these areas, but I have to fullfill my boss requirements.
